  • 360 were children under the age of 6
  • 32 are woman who are pregnant
  • 19 are woman who are nursing
  • 28% have lead service lines
  • Women who are pregnant or nursing= 0
  • Children under the age of 6 who have elevated blood lead levels of 10 ug/dl or higher = 11. This is 3% of the total 360 children < 6 years. Of these 11 children, 5 live in homes with lead service pipes (lead levels are: 11, 12,14,15, 23 ug/dl) and 6 live in homes w/ out lead pipes (10,10,12,13,15,16 ug/dl)
  • Of the 736 residents outside of the DOH target population screened for blood lead levels, only 1 has a blood LEAD level above 25 ug/dl (the level of most concern for adults). This resident does not live in a home with a lead service pipe.

The blood LEAD level at which medication is offered is usually 45 ug/dl.
