Action No. 03-79 (EGS) ORDERPursuant to the status hearing held on March 10, 2003, and for the reasons stated in open court, it is by the Court hereby ORDERED that Mr. Ashby-Rier and Mr. Hubbard are hereby granted leave to file submissions as amici curiae in this case in their individual capacities only, and not on behalf of other individuals; and it is FURTHER ORDERED that the motion to intervene filed by Ms. Cynthia Greene is hereby construed as a request to file a submission as amicus curiae and is GRANTED as such; and it isFURTHER ORDERED that the motion to intervene filed by Ms. Baird Currie, et al is hereby DENIED without prejudice to reconsideration upon a subsequent request. In the interim, Ms. Baird Currie, et al. are invited to file a submission as amicus curiae; and it is FURTHER ORDERED that defendants American Federation of Teachers (AFT), Washington Teachers' Union (WTU), as well as members of the Washington Teachers Union Executive Board and Board of Trustees sued in their official capacities, shall file any potentially dispositive motions, as well as their responses to plaintiff's motion for preliminary injunction, by no later than March 21, 2003; and it is FURTHER ORDERED that plaintiff shall file a response to any potentially dispositive motions, as well as a reply in support of the motion for preliminary injunction, by no later than April 4, 2003; and it is FURTHER ORDERED that replies in support of any potentially dispositive motions shall be filed by no later than April 11, 2003; and it is FURTHER ORDERED that amici curiae are invited to file submissions addressing plaintiff's motion for preliminary injunction, defendants' potentially dispositive motions, or both, by no later than April 18, 2003. Amici shall not repeat arguments made by any party; and it is FURTHER ORDERED that the parties shall file any responses to submissions by amici curiae by no later than April 25, 2003; and it is FURTHER ORDERED that, on the dates that pleadings are electronically filed, the parties shall hand deliver to the Chambers of Judge Sullivan one copy of the substantive points and authorities that they rely upon together with two copies of their respective pleadings; and it is FURTHER ORDERED that, in addition to filing them in PDF format and hand delivering them, the parties shall electronically submit their pleadings to the Chambers of Judge Sullivan in WordPerfect format at the following address: Sullivan Chambers@dcd.uscourts.gov; and it is FURTHER ORDERED that a hearing on pending motions is scheduled for April 30, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. in Courtroom One.
