The mayor has nominated Sandra "SS" Seegars to the DC Taxicab Commission. As a nominee I would like to know about your issues and concerns with the present taxi industry, so I can better serve you.

My confirmation hearing is scheduled for September, when the Council returns from recess. The hearing will be before the Committee on Public Works, chaired by Carol Schwartz. I have already obtained a letter of support from Councilmember Schwartz, along with David Catania, Sharon Ambrose, Harold Brazil, Kathy Patterson, and Sandy Allen.
