SUBJECT : Appointments - Health Services Reform (HSR) Commission

ORIGINATING AGENCY: Office of the Mayor

By virtue of the authority vested in me as Mayor of the District of Columbia by section 422(2) of the District of Columbia Home Rule Act, as amended, 87 Stat. 790, Pub. L. No. 93-198, D.C. Code § 1242(2)(1999 Repl.), and in accordance with Mayor's 2001-74, dated May 16, 2001, it is hereby ORDERED that:

1. The following persons are appointed as members of the Health Services Reform (HSR) Commission (hereinafter referred to as "Commission") and shall serve until June 1, 2004, at the pleasure of the Mayor:

2. The following persons are appointed as ex-officio voting members of the Commission and shall serve until June 1, 2004, at the pleasure of the Mayor:

DR. FERNANDO DANIELS, representing Fire and Emergency Medical Services Department;
CAROLYN GRAHAM, representing the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Children and Family; and
DR. NATWAR GANDHI, representing the Office of the Chief Financial Officer.
3. BAILUS WALKER, Ph.D. is appointed Chairperson of the Commission and shall serve until June 1, 2004, at the pleasure of the Mayor.

4. EFFECTIVE DATE: This Order shall become effective immediately.
