Washington, DC -- Mayor-Elect Vince Gray at a news conference today introduced the leaders of his Transition Team, the day after he won the overwhelming support of District of Columbia voters in Tuesday's general election. The Mayor-Elect will convene the first meeting of the Leadership Team in the "Gray Transition 2010" offices on the 4th floor of the Frank D. Reeves Municipal Center at 14th and U Streets, NW today.

Commenting on the change in control of the House of Representatives, Gray said he will reach out soon to the new Republican leadership to discuss issues of concern to the District. He added, "My message will be clear - I look forward to working with you, but you also need to work with us. It's time for the people of the District of Columbia to have a greater voice in our own fate. Gray Mayor-Electg that message to the White House, as well."
