What Is DCWatch?

One thing I want to point out to the media which is not self-evident on its face due to my anglicized name but, I am a Latino from Puerto Rico and I want to be the first Latino on the DC City Council considering that Latinos make up 13% of the District’s population and have absolutely no “real” representation there.

Jim Graham and Adrian Fenty may have Latinos in their wards but they are not Latinos.

Ward 3 has a good number of Latinos but Kathy Patterson has never stepped up to the plate for them.

African Americans have a voice, Jewish people have a voice, GLBT people have a voice, Caucasians have voice per se but Latinos are the only major group who has never had a real voice on the DC City Council.

Yo soy un Puertorriqueño.
