A PROPOSED RESOLUTION
IN THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIAxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
To extend the existence of the Council Board of Elections
and Ethics Investigation Special Committee until December 31, 2009, or
the filing of the committee’s final report, whichever occurs first.
RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA,
That this resolution may be cited as the "Council Board of
Elections and Ethics Investigation Special Committee Establishment
Extension Resolution of 2008".
Sec. 2. Section 9(b) of the Council Board of Elections
and Ethics Investigation Special Committee Establishment Emergency
Resolution of 2008, effective September 16, 2008 (Res. 170-770; 55 DCR
10079), is amended to read as follows:
“(b) This resolution shall expire on December 31, 2009,
or the filing of the committee’s final report, whichever occurs
first.”.
Sec. 3. Fiscal impact statement.
The Council adopts the fiscal impact statement of the
Council Budget Director. Sec. 4. Effective date; sunset provisions.
(a) This resolution shall take effect immediately.
